Chinese CPC, along with our partners at the Vancouver Police Department and the City of Vancouver, runs volunteer programs from cleaning up the streets to patrolling and even removing graffiti to revitalizing Chinatown and Gastown. Our community cleanup events bring together volunteers to spruce up neglected areas, not just to make them look good, but to also prevent crime and vandalism. And guess what? You can join in too! We had a blast at the 2024 Neighbourhood Cleanup Kickoff Party co-hosted with the City of Vancouver on Saturday, March 23, where 90 amazing volunteers came out to help make our community sparkle. We're keeping the momentum going with summer Chinatown cleanups every second Saturday and in-house monthly cleanups on the first Saturday of each summer month.
